Structure:
The British L10A1 is a scatterable antipersonnel mine which is designed to be laid by the Ranger antipersonnel mine laying system. The system is mounted on a FV432 armored personnel carrier and consists of 72 tubes each loaded with 18 mines, for a total of 1296 mines per load. The mine is a relatively simple pressure initiated, blast antipersonnel mine. When pressure is applied to the top of the mine, the integral fuze is functioned and the mine detonates.
